Phone number provisioning
We provide you with a separate national toll-free or local telephone number to insert into each advertisement or campaign you wish to track. Calls to these numbers route through a call capture system, then ring through to your business phone.
Call data capture
As the inbound calls to your trackable numbers pass through a digital switch, the system captures to a database information about each call - the caller's name, phone number, plus the time, duration and completion status of
the call (connected, busy, ring-no-answer, or abandoned). This data is captured even if your line is busy or you're not there to answer the phone, allowing you to follow-up on leads that otherwise might have been lost.
Just as important, the phone number the customer dialed indicates which of your advertisements caught that caller's attention, allowing you to compare the effectiveness of your various ad buys. Since these people
called you, outbound marketing is permitted under current telemarketing and "do not call" regulations.
Call recording
In addition to information captured about each caller, your database can optionally include a digital recording of each call. You can listen to recorded calls online and forward them to colleagues via email. All calls are
retained in your database for 30 days, but you can select up to 30 calls to be retained indefinitely.
